Residents have access to a variety of internal and external programs designed to help them address the issues that result in homelessness. During their stay in our shelter, residents may participate in several or all components of our program. Program participation is determined through case management.
Internal Programs
Internal programs help residents understand the fundamentals of healthy behaviors in interpersonal relationships, thought processes, parenting, and employability.

In order to help residents make the most of their opportunity at OHM, we provide on-site, licensed daycare for children (3+ months).

Transitional Housing
Providing transitional support is a crucial piece of helping residents find success in a post-shelter situation. Families who have had poor rental histories, bad debt, and legal problems have trouble finding housing even when they have made significant progress.
