Our Stores

Residents at Open House Ministries gain practical work experience through our Bike Shop, Thrift Store, and Coffee Shop, where they build foundational skills, strengthen résumés, and prepare for employment or continued education with the support of case managers.

Each setting offers hands-on learning in areas like bike repair, merchandising, customer service, barista experience, and inventory management. As the community shops, donates, and volunteers, every purchase directly supports this life-changing work.

All proceeds go to support Open House Ministries.

Wheel House Bike Shop

The Wheel House is a full-service, nonprofit, donation-based bicycle shop in downtown Vancouver, where every purchase directly supports Open House Ministries and its work with families in shelter and more than 30 community partners, including the VA, CPS, DCYF, OHSU, Drug Court, Oxford House, and the Red Cross. We accept donated bicycles in any condition, along with accessories like helmets (which we give away for free), skateboards, and more. We repair and resell them at affordable prices, including kids’ bikes priced at just $1 per inch. Whether you’re looking for a great deal, want to donate, or are interested in volunteering, every part of The Wheel House helps provide reliable transportation and supports people working to rebuild their lives.
